Role Summary:
As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing relationships with major grocery retail accounts. Your main objective is to drive sales growth, execute strategic initiatives, and enhance the positioning of beauty products in this highly competitive market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Account Management:
Manage and grow key grocery retail accounts, ensuring a strong relationship and mutual business success, experience with key UK grocers is a must! - Sales Strategy:
Develop and implement sales strategies that align with the business and the grocers’ business objectives, maximizing product placement and sales. - Business Development:
Identify new opportunities within existing accounts to drive growth and expand product offerings. - Negotiations & Contracts:
Lead negotiations for annual contracts, promotional deals, and pricing agreements. - Cross-functional Collaboration:
Work closely with marketing, supply chain, and finance teams to ensure smooth execution of promotional activities and product launches. - Market Analysis & Reporting:
Monitor market trends and competitor activity to adjust strategies and provide insights to internal stakeholders. - Performance Tracking:
Track and analyse key performance metrics, ensuring targets for sales, profitability, and market share are met or exceeded.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Key Account Manager or similar sales role, preferably within the beauty or FMCG sector.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
- Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
