Our client is a leading private equity backed Beauty Brand that has a global presence across all major retailers and luxury department stores.

The E-commerce Account Manager is responsible for achieving sales and profit goals for my clients brand and is the single point of contact for selected retail customers.  This role develops retailer strategy and then leads a cross functional team to execute, track, and adjust the retailer-specific business plan.  
 

  • Ensure flawless implementation of all new product development and achievement of required distribution objectives.
  • Prepare a joint business plan which will deliver the sales and profit growth in line with the company’s growth for each customer.
  • Responsibility for the development, maintenance, and implementation of all administration.
  • Preparing reviews for all accounts within his/her responsibility, including strategic planning and resource allocation to achieve account objectives.
  • Manage and control all promotion expenditure within your responsibility in line with the company’s guidelines, to ensure an optimum return on investment.
  • Develop and improve tools and systems to monitor the marketplace, our brands and competitor’s performance. 
  • Effectively collaborate and coordinate activity within internal departments, category, customer marketing, finance, and customer services to deliver company’s business priorities. 
  • Lead Category Sales Development to achieve sales goals through mutually profitable business planning and execution.
  • Identify business opportunities through collaboration and optimize profitability through negotiation with retailer and PPI Marketing / PD organization.  Translate those business opportunities into account-specific strategies and tactics that drive market share and growth. 
  • Analyze sales trends and supply chain efficiencies to make recommendations to maximize opportunities, while analyzing forecasting metrics and data to ensure accuracy targets are met. 

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years experience in working with major retailers in the UK – THG, Beauty Bay.
  • 2-3 experience in beauty industry a benefit.


Special skills required: 

  • Retailer systems experience required, 
  • Excellent skills and abilities in Excel and MS Office.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills 
  • Passion for the products and business

  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining an enthusiastic hunger for business
  • Strong influencing skills, with ability to positively influence strategy both at the company and retailers
