Senior Manager of PR & Communications:
Your purpose & impact: As the Senior Manager of PR & Communications, you will be pivotal in shaping and enhancing the brand’s reputation through strategic public relations, media, brand, agency, and influencer partnerships. The ideal candidate will be a skilled storyteller with a proven track record in managing brand image, crafting compelling narratives that gain coverage from influencers and media alike, creating limited edition product partnerships with trending brands, and executing impactful brand events.
Some of the things you’ll do:
- Develop and execute comprehensive PR strategies to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key media contacts, journalists, and industry influencers.
- Draft and distribute press releases, media kits, and other PR materials.
- Develop and track ambitious KPIs for market PR agencies, monitor media coverage, and prepare regular reports on PR activities and results.
- Identify, recruit, and manage organic relationships with influencers and brands that align with the brand’s image and values.
- Develop influencer marketing strategies and campaigns to drive brand awareness and engagement.
- Collaborate with the performance marketing team to build synergies with their Influencer Marketing Partnerships strategy.
- Track and analyze organic influencer performance, engagement, and growth. Identify and pursue strategic brand partnership opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop co-branded initiatives, limited edition products, and campaigns.
- Manage partnership agreements, presentations, and approvals to ensure successful execution of joint projects.
- Develop and implement crisis communication plans and protocols.
- Prepare statements and manage internal and external communication during crises to protect the brand’s reputation.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute brand events in partnership with local PR agencies, including product launches, media events, and industry conferences.
- Manage event budgets, logistics, approvals, and vendor relationships, ensuring events are executed flawlessly and align with the brand’s image and objectives.
Skills and experiences important for this role:
- 5+ years of experience in PR and communications, preferably within the beauty or fashion industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in public relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- Creative thinker with a strategic mindset and a proven track record of successful media placements and influencer collaborations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Elevated taste, with an aesthetic understanding of emerging trends.
- A strong network of media contacts and influencers within the fashion, beauty, or luxury industry.
- Proficiency in PR and social media monitoring tools.
- Understanding of the UK and German markets, consumer preferences, and media landscape.
