You will be based 2 days in the office and 3 days from home, our client also allows flexible working.
You will be responsible for overseeing and optimising the performance of a specific product category by leading their strategy, conducting market research, combining market analysis, and product management, and collaborating with various teams to drive growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify opportunities for product innovation or improvement.
- Oversee the development and launch of new supplements, from concept to shelf, ensuring the products meet consumer needs and align with company goals.
- Working with suppliers and manufacturers to source ingredients or finished products, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Developing pricing strategies based on cost structure, market demand, and competitor analysis.
- Working closely with the marketing department to ensure products are well-promoted and aligned with the overall brand strategy.
- Providing guidance to the sales team by giving insights on product performance, competitive positioning, and customer preferences to drive more effective sales pitches and strategies.
- Market Research: They regularly assess the competitive landscape, consumer behaviour, and industry data to inform product decisions and strategies.
- Ensuring that products in your category meet all relevant safety, labelling, and health claims regulations.
- Working with the quality control team to ensure that products meet high standards for safety and efficacy.
- Analysing sales trends to forecast demand, ensuring that sufficient inventory levels are maintained without overstocking, which can lead to waste.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in Product Marketing and Innovation.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance and industry standards.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, creating a collaborative and creative work environment, and encouraging innovative thinking.
